We have a natural desire to want relief from tense muscles. Tense muscles can make us feel uncomfortable and constricted. When we feel our muscles tensing, we often attribute it to stress.
STRESS is our body in defense
Stress may be from a repetitive physical activity or positioning, an emotional/relational challenge, or anything that our system perceives as more than we can handle. Stress is our body attempting to "defend against". It takes energy to sustain defense. We intuitively know we want relief, we want to redirect our energy to healing rather than defending. We want freedom from the distraction defense poses to enjoying life fully.
Reflexology is one approach to relieving tension throughout the body. A private reflexology session serves to calm your overall nervous system, and address areas of imbalance--areas of tension. Reflexology is meant to bring your body to a state ease and balance that we describe as well-being.
At Sound Reflexology, your session includes an orientation for mind body awareness as a compliment to the benefits of reflexology.
