Stress & Resistance are One and the Same

Where are you resistant...to circumstances, to yourself, to others?

Whenever we are “resistant”, there is a part of us that has a belief that there is good reason to resist. We can learn a lot about ourselves through noticing where we are resistant. Taking a closer look at resistance helps us to move into the next wave of life.

Paradoxically, it’s by accepting our resistance that we can most swiftly move beyond it.

During a reflexology session, areas of resistance can become apparent. Those areas often reveal layers of protection, often from something in ones past that is no longer a threat. Reflexology, and indeed all awareness practices, present opportunities for discovery. In discovering what is waiting to be acknowledged, there is an unfolding. Transition is what happens during the course of this process.

As we notice, acknowledge and accept resistance---we find we’re on our way!
