What is Holistic Wellness?
Holistic wellness takes the whole person into account: mental, physical/emotional, spiritual aspects are all considered as an aspect of well-being. We can feel discomfort in any or all of these parts of ourselves. From a holistic perspective, our discomfort is looked upon as valuable information rather than a problem in and of itself. The discomfort typically relates to an imbalance within the body/mind system. Holistic wellness is about allowing for flow of information and resources within the mind/body system so that the balance we experience as optimal wellness may be achieved.
