Being Pulled in Another Direction

I was just remembering...I had water on boil some time ago. Where is my tea?

Distractions can be a sign of being pulled away or of moving into. In the case of the “tea”, I was busy moving into something. Something I’m passionate about. Something that feeds me MORE than tea. OK, that is a healthy distraction.

Another “healthy” distraction can be symptoms of discomfort. I’ve been typing at the computer for a while now, and I’m feeling a bit stiff. That stiffness is a healthy distraction asking me to move a bit and breath into those places that are becoming stagnant. By taking the break to attend to the distraction of discomfort, I’ll actually be better able to enjoy and persevere with the task at hand--writing my reflexology blogs!
